Adiat Disu, the Director of Adiree ( , a branding and communications firm secures designers of New York Fashion Week [Africa] a visit to Voices of America (VOA) newsroom in New York City.

Designer Onyii Brown, founder of Onyii & Co and Hilda Mauya, founder of Dahil Republic Couture take journalists of VOA News and viewers behind the scenes of their brand.

Each designer explained their inspiration, passion behind the labels, their love for Africa, and participation in New York Fashion.

As part of a half-hour program that VOA News produces, this segment aired on one of the most powerful TV stations in Africa, Channels TV in Nigeria.
