OUR THOUGHTS ON WHY GENDER EQUALITY IS #BETTER4KENYA | THIS IS ESS

Share this:

I’m so honoured to have had such brilliant, successful, passionate and beautiful ladies take time out of their busy schedules to share their thoughts on why gender equality is important to them! I hope this video moves and inspires you as much as did me.

I believe with all my heart that if we worked to ensure that women had the same rights and privileges as men do, it would ultimately be #Better4Kenya. There’s so many instances in which women don’t have much of a say or choice in the matter, whether it’s to do with FGM, child marriage, gender based violence, discrimination in the workplace… the list goes on and on.

If you feel passionately about this and want to continue this conversation online, please use the hashtag #Better4Kenya and follow @Better4Kenya on twitter.
