Where Have I Been?? And Red Eyeshadow How-To (Beginner-friendly) | Bellesa Africa

Share this:

Hey guys!!!

Ok- so yes- I have been seriously MIA for a while because my schedule has been FILLED with school, a recently-completed fellowship, client work and travel- so hectic!!

I actually shared more in the video- did you see?

Plus guys I’m SO EXCITED to be back- I’ve got so SO much I want to share with you. And if you have any requests, just share them in the comments section below and I’ll get to shooting!!!

This video is all about blending bright, matte eyeshadows, and is perfect for anyone beginning in makeup. I have gotten so many questions regarding the blending techniques, especially when it comes to bright AND matte shadows that I decided to shoot this video for you. And blending red eyeshadow is HARD, but since the colour is so bright it’s the one of the best in terms of showing you all the blending techniques.

The eyeshadow palette I used is the Morphe Brushes 35B that contains 35 bright, rainbow-y colours- the best matte eyeshadow palette for this tutorial.

I also used a cream eyeshadow on top of an eyeshadow primer as a base, just so that the matte red eyeshadow would have something to stick to! The video also shows you the best eyeshadow brushes to use for this look.

After applying liquid foundation and setting it with my powder foundation, I completed the look with a really beautiful powder blush and then ended with a liquid lipstick and some lipgloss.

Now that I think about it, I also could have used a really pretty lipstick as well by MAC that I own- next time!

Anyway, I’ve really missed you guys and I hope you enjoy the video!!!

xoXO Kangai!!
